This one gave me some trouble, I did it all by hand and miscalculated a little. It is oval pieces appliqued onto a circle which is then appliqued onto a square. I eyeballed it and they are all a little off-kilter, but I am okay with it.

The First block of four

Okay, after a huge break... camping for 6 weeks, several craft shows, 3 quilts, and the holidays, I decided to finally sew the blocks into a block of four. It feels like I actually made something now. The 4 blocks together only make about a 12 inch block, but at least they look nice.
